NO ! God spoke face …
NO ! God spoke face to face to Moses on the mountain. There were witnesess there when God wrote the commandments infront of Moses. But Muhammad did marry a 13 yr old. If it is wrong now it must have been wrong then. The girl was only a baby. what 13? Plus why wasnt the Quran compiled when Muhammad was alive? Its saves a lot of argument. Allah knew this. Most religious people always have an excuse. But you cant deny that God spoke to moses himself not no angel. God direct !

    The weakest/ …
The weakest/strongest link to something that doesn’t even exist? Almost probably Abraham never existed so what is the real point of this exercise. I would imagine its akin to theologians debating how many angels can fit on the head of a pin.

There is nothing in science/the natural world that points to any kind of supernatural creator. Just as there is no evidence supporting the existence of pink unicorns.

  • SoloQ says:

    Furthermore, one of …
Furthermore, one of the compilers of the Quran was a jew named Zayd ibn thabit. much of the beliefs in islam is borrowed from Judaism. i.e. tahweed, kosher laws, etc.
that is something many of you fools don’t know.

I left Islam because it is a chaotic and inaccurate doctrine that suffers many flaws through out humanity with violence. The Quran is really that terrible.

  • SoloQ says:

    Your info is wrong. …
Your info is wrong. do a search on muhammed edh dhib and what he and his cousin discovered in Qumran.

The manuscript dates back over 2500 years and it proves the Quran is wrong about lives of Abraham, Ishmael, isaac and many more.

There are no errors in the Torah. can’t say the same for the Quran or Bible because there are many versions of them claiming that some Qurans state Isa was crucified while the other Quran says that he was not.
go type in Ahmediyya if you don’t believe me.

  • abdoulayebarry says:

    God created four …
God created four books The Taurant the Zaboor the Injeel and the Quran. In the Quran Allah says that before he revealed another book that he destroyed the one before it bucause it was inconsistent with the times. So how the do the jews say they have the original Taurant and the Bible is not one of the four books Allah created. So the Holy Quran is the Word of Allah most high and we belive also in the 3 books before it. Also Abraham(pbuh) built the KABA Islam was his only faith.

    here is a much …
here is a much bigger issue my Jewish friend the torah has been compiled in written format only centuries later … the bible’s story is known the koran is the only book that has been written as the prophet delivers the message..and it compiled 2 years after mohammed’s death .. and was copied few years after that… not to mention the hundreds of people who absolutely memorized it from back to back. The koran is the only authentic source, the authentic bible and torah doesn’t exist anymore.

  • semo2010 says:

    thats just a bland …
thats just a bland umption that is scientifically incorrect, everyone knows that there is a clear unity of a creator in the universe .. however .. what those chaps are arguing is the link … which is the weakest/strongest link to God ?

Let’s see. Which of the three systems that believe in the non-existent sky daddy is true? This is a trick question, right? The answer has to be none of them because the entity they worship doesn’t exist.

    and what is your point?
    The topic is about Abraham.
Did you even read the Torah? I have both books next to each other and the “recite” book does not stand well my friend.

  • alphaketoacid says:

    Study the word …
Study the word Pharaoh in both the Torah and Quran and tell me which one is more authentic.

  • SoloQ says:

    Judaism IS the true …
Judaism IS the true legacy of Abraham/Avraham/Ibrahim.
The Torah is a perfect book.

One point the imam did not mention is that in the Torah, Ishmael was already promised a blessed nation and was also circumcised on the same day as Avraham while isaac was promised a nation too with Avraham to establish the convenant.
This is one reason I choose Judaism over Islam.

The Quran does not make sense.
However, I agree Islam and Judaism are the closest religions.
    Christianity is another story.

When you are leaving a comment chain, make each subsequent segment of the comment chain a reply to the immediately prior comment segment you left.

4.Jesus didnt fornicate, and abstained from extramarital contact with women. Now, this issue extends to the least physical contact with the opposite sex. With the exception of performing religious rituals and helping those in

  • Ghassan3052006 says:

    need, Jesus never …
need, Jesus never even touched a woman other than his mother. Strictly practicing Orthodox Jews maintain this practice to this day in observance of Old Testament law. Likewise, practicing Muslims dont even shake hands between the sexes. Can Christian hug your neighbor and kiss the bride congregations make the same claim?

  • Ghassan3052006 says:

    3.Jesus didnt give …
3.Jesus didnt give or take usury, in compliance with the Old Testament prohibition (Exodus 22:25). Usury is forbidden in the Old Testament and the Quran, as it was forbidden in the religion of Jesus. The economies of most Christian countries, however, are structured upon usury.

  • Ghassan3052006 says:

    1.Jesus was …
1.Jesus was circumcised (Luke 2:21). Paul taught it wasnt necessary (Rom 4:11 and Gal 5:2). Muslims believe it is.
2.Jesus didnt eat pork, in keeping with Old Testament law (Leviticus 11:7 and Deuteronomy 14:8). Muslims also believe pork is forbidden. Christians well, you get the idea.

  • Ghassan3052006 says:

    3.Jesus’ mother …
3.Jesus’ mother covered her hair, and this practice was maintained among the Christian women of the Holy Land up to the middle of the twentieth century. Again, this is a practice maintained among Muslims as well as Orthodox Jews (of which Jesus was one), but not among modern day Christians.

  • Ghassan3052006 says:

    2.Jesus dressed …
2.Jesus dressed modestly. If we close our eyes and form a mental picture, we see flowing robes, from wrists to ankles—much like the loose Arabian thobes and the Indio-Pakistani shalwar kameez, typical of the Muslims of those areas. What we don’t imagine is the revealing or seductive clothing so ubiquitous in Christian cultures.

  • Ghassan3052006 says:

1.Jesus was bearded, as are most Muslims, but only the rare Christian.
